BGS PU COLLEGE, Mahalakshmipuram, Bengaluru is an educational initiative by Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust (R.), Karnataka that has earned a distinct reputation in the field of primary to higher (inclusive of Technical and Medical) education in India. As a progressive, learning-centric, co-educational college, we are committed to creating individuals who can become a part of an evolving global environment. To further this endeavour, we have created world class infrastructure and wholesome learning and socializing environment which is innovative and enriching.

We are travelling through a time when boundaries are shrinking and the world is turning into a global village. Our younger generation should be prepared to face unique challenges and avail new opportunities in this global environment.

Our children are our future. They must be nurtured and given the right environment for developing as complete individuals who will help in nation building process and contribute towards the welfare of the society. As the Secretary at BGS PU College, the progressive-chart in hindsight of our journey fills me with pride. At the same time, and more importantly, it humbles me with enormous responsibility endowed on us in chalking our forthcoming path. The learning we have had from challenges hitherto and how it will immensely guide us in developing the midas touch for our students in time to come.

Goes without saying, this would have been herculean-impossible without the persistent and enduring support of our entire staff.

BGS PU College thrives on developing intellect in students with Discipline, Determination and Passion. This deeply merits their proficiency in doing exceedingly-well and meeting challenges of the contemporary society. Academically, the results have been extremely good with many students securing distinctions in all subjects.

Learning environment is said that the social and emotional environment which is invisible to teacher. Students react to the environment which is a composite of many factors and particular aspects of the environment effect changes in particular areas of the cognitive development at certain critical points in time and plays a crucial and influential role in the cognitive development process of the students.

These environmental factors provide a richly structured milieu of experience, which affects the student's far reaching manner, and they might shape and determine many of the student's preferences, habits etc., and will consciously and subconsciously influence many of their behaviours and actions. We are all well aware of the fact that cognitive development normally and naturally takes place within an environment; therefore a lot of emphasis is placed on shaping the collegeâEUR™s environment to be 'student-friendly' and 'student-centric'. Such a nurturing environment will enhance their experience and exposure and also will to increase their self âEUR“worth.

At BGS PU College, the environment in which learning occurs is scientifically planned and specially created to achieve the stated objectives and desired goals, sparing no expenses. The emphasis will be on providing an uplifting social and academic environment in which the student can grow, be taught and learn the relevance of and respect for all the things in life.

Education is the process of facilitating learning or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits. Education is for modifying and bringing about beneficial challenges to oneâEUR™s immediate surroundings and thereby shaping the world into a better place to live in for all.

The Pre University education is aimed at developing the analytical and creative skills of the students. The role of Pre-University education is not only to provide the bridge to move them from the secondary mindset to the tertiary mindset. It has now morphed into becoming the point at which students should be given the relevant guidance, counseling, exposure and skills to also decide on their future career paths wisely.

The purpose of good teaching in college would be defeated if it does not transform the individual in sphere of life. It is when students are truly fascinate about their own personal endeavours while remaining selfless in their pursuit towards understanding the values and interests of others that they are fulfilling the goals expected of them by the society.

BGS PU College is an ideal institute in every sense of the word. The ambience with all the necessary infrastructure, the laboratory, library, competent and experienced faculty, a yearlong training for sports aspirants, timely remedial classes for slow learners, coaching for CET, NEET/AIIMS, JEE-Mains, JEE-Advanced, CA-CPT, CS, CMA, Soft skills, Communicative English, Music, Dance and other Co-Curricular activities.

Our Sri Sri Sri Dr.Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji's ambition is to provide quality education to students, with this intention, he is establishing BGS PU College for the academic year 2017-18. Education is a fixed asset of an individual that cannot be stolen by anybody; it is an asset passes from generation to generation. It is the spring of culture and enlightenment. In BGS PU College, we combine culture, learning and overall development to help student evolve into successful and duty bound citizens of our country. Our aim is not just to impart education but also to train young minds to face the challenges of this modern world, thereby creating a pool of talent fit (leadership skills) to bring in positive changes in the society.
